Stylized Mandolin

This piece has been inspirated from two 19th Century Beauvais tapestries. One of these tapestries is the "Vase with flowers and fruits", which is today in the Orsay museum. Woven in 1873, this part was itself a copy of the painting of Monnoyer : Vase of gold, flowers and fruits. The Mandoline tapestry completely takes parts of the original tapestry.
