Grape Harvests in France

Right part of the "Wine makers"; tapestry, woven towards the end of the XVth century, in the Flanders. This scene represents the grape harvest. Men pick the grapes with their pruning-knife while women collect them in baskets. Although no cart can be seen, a horse stands ready in the background.
