This tapestry is an extract of an English work from the beginning of the XVIII th century woven in Soho. The soft mixture of the maroon, pink and ochre colours, reminds us of the grotesque style which was very much appreciated in the XVIII th century. The precision of the weave offers a maximum of details to this design particularly successful.
